BMW Motorrad lifts the veil on the R 1300 GS Adventure, the most extreme version of the Bavarian maxi enduro. The tank grows to 30 litres and promises a range of over 600 kilometres, designed for those who cross continents.
The 1300 cc boxer delivers 145 horsepower and is flanked by standard adaptive electronic suspension, the optional ASA automated gearbox and a rider assistance package including adaptive cruise control with emergency braking.
Sales start in late summer with four trim levels and an accessories range spanning aluminium panniers to auxiliary LED lights.
