China is advancing in the North American car market
From manufacturing to batteries, Chinese automakers are strengthening their presence in a key area for the global industry.
Chinese brands are not entering North America with a single move, but through a gradual strategy: components, batteries, software and industrial partnerships. This is how they are gaining space in the supply chain, even without immediately selling large volumes of cars under their own badges.
For the auto market, this means growing pressure on US, European and Japanese manufacturers. For Italy, the issue matters too, because the battle is increasingly being fought on EVs, costs and supply-chain control.
