Ferrari arrives at Silverstone with a major aerodynamic update package. A redesigned floor, new wings and revised sidepods: the Maranello team's goal is to reduce the gap to the championship leaders on a track that historically rewards efficiency.
The engineers have worked mainly on downforce in fast corners, the weakness that emerged in recent races. Simulations promise a gain of almost two tenths per lap, but the real answer will only come from Friday's free practice.
Silverstone is also the home race for much of the paddock: a record crowd weekend is expected, with over 400,000 spectators across the three days.
